Children get to know the piano as they play and make music together.
Classes teach basic piano skills while expanding each child's musical concepts, providing an ideal foundation for further musical study. Fun and interactive activities will engage your child in learning to read and understand music.
Children experience group music study as well as individual keyboard work in the Buffalo State piano lab. In addition to piano skills, classes include music and movement exercises, music reading, solfege, pitch-matching, and rhythm skills.
Class size is limited to 4 children, each accompanied by a parent or caregiver. This small class size assures that each child gets individual attention as well as ensemble experience with their classmates. A fantastic environment to introduce your child to piano study!
Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes. Enter through Lot I-30 doors and follow sign, just off Iroquois Drive, west of Elmwood Ave.
Enrollment is limited to four students per class.
