Andrew Borchik was appointed the Manager of Louis P. Ciminelli Recital Hall at Buffalo State College in Spring of 2016. He is a professional sound engineer, theater technician, live sound reinforcement contractor, and booking agent. He has been engaged as audio engineer across New York State. Past engagements as sound engineer include the New York State Blues Festival, Syracuse Jazz Fest, as well as numerous outdoor festivals and events featuring regional, national, and international acts. His advanced skills on both analog and digital platforms, and his experience as an acoustic musician, allow him to highlight each performers’ unique qualities and show the best of every artist.
With a professional background in technical writing and a BA English from The University at Buffalo, Andrew is able to relate to the technical needs of artists and translate those needs in order to satisfy production requirements. Andrew is a sought-after sound engineer and venue manager in the Western New York area.
