The term "form" is regularly used in two senses: to denote a specific type of music and to denote a disposition of certain structural units in time.
Papers are invited to discuss topics related to form and forms in music in the fields of musicology, music theory, music pedagogy, ethnomusicology. Interdisciplinary approaches are particularly encouraged.
Papers will be 20 minutes in length, followed by a question and answer period.
Please send abstracts of no more than 300 words with up to 4 pages of examples as a pdf file to Antonella DiGiulio by April 4, 2018.
Submissions will be reviewed anonymously.
