Cameron Tragesser holds a degree in Musical Theatre Music Direction from Ball State University, where he also served as an accompanist, music director, and instructor in the Department of Theatre and Dance. His professional career spans a wide range of music directing, conducting, and performance experiences across the United States and beyond.
Cameron has performed internationally with Holland America Cruise Line as part of the Billboard On Board show and served as Music Director and Conductor for the North American tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He has also toured nationally with The SpongeBob Musical and Elf the Musical.
In addition to his touring work, Cameron has collaborated with many leading theaters in the Chicago area, including Paramount Theatre, Marriott Theatre, Porchlight Music Theatre, and Theatre for Young Audiences. His credits there include productions such as Into the Woods, Next to Normal, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cats, White Christmas, and The Full Monty.
