Performing its inaugural concert season in fall 2009, the Buffalo State Philharmonia is composed of Buffalo State music majors, non-music majors, faculty, area professional musicians, local music educators, and community enthusiasts who are committed to performing the symphonic repertoire at a high level.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for local music educators who participate in the Philharmonia Orchestra. Interested educators can register on the Continuing and Professional Studies Website or e-mail music@buffalostate.edu for more information.
Auditions
Auditions for the Buffalo State Philharmonia Orchestra are open to all students and community members.
The Philharmonia Orchestra is inviting auditions for all Buffalo State students (both music majors and non-music majors) as well as community members looking to enhance their musical skills in an orchestral setting.

Requirements
Please prepare a solo piece of your choice (piano accompaniment not required), showcasing your abilities and experiences. Additionally, please prepare a two or three octave scale of your choice.
